Peace to all of you...

Can a person have peace
in the middle of a world full
of suffering? Many ask
themselves this question
during these times when
our society is confronting
an economical world
crisis. According to the
Spanish Dictionary,
peace is a virtue that
instills tranquility and
calmness, the opposite of
confusion and passions.
How can you obtain this virtue so that your life can have the tranquility and calmness in the middle of all negativity that is happening around you? You turn on the television and there appears an ocean of negative news that just soaks your mind and heart leaving confusion in your soul. Some are not able to reconcile their sleep, others have gotten mentally sick and there are those who have taken the terrible decision of terminating their lives leaving behind them more confusion and no tranquility in their homes.
The word of God says in John 16:33 I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world. These words were pronounced by Jesus, hours before His arrest. He wanted his disciples to know that it didn't matter what happened in the future, they would remember that only in Him they would have peace. He tells them to trust in Him. When we put our complete trust in the Lord we can find the peace that we need. If your trust is in worldly things, you will not have the security of internal peace. What do I mean? An example is money What happens to the people's lives that put their trust in their money as the only means of security when they run out of it? They become desperate and seem to go crazy. Others live stuck to their bank accounts to have the security that they will not need anything and live full of anguish when they hear negative news abot the firing of employees of big corporations. These news threaten them constantly. Their minds have no rest and they are not able to sleep. Their attitude changes defensively toward others. They are not the same as when everything in their business was going well. That lack of peace and insecurity soon is reflected in all other areas of their lives. That is why if our trust is really put on the Lord, nothing that happens around us will affect us in a negative manner because we understand that everything is temporary and inconsistent in this physical world. Only He is eternal. He demonstrated that to us by rising after being buried and showing up in front of his disciples saying "peace be with you"..
If you want to find the real peace, you should invite the Lord into your heart and ask him to take control of your life. That he may guide you in the middle of these tormented times.
Read this prayer out loud:
Lord Jesus, I come before thee recognizing that it is You and only You that can bring peace into my life and my heart. Come to my heart and make it your home. Make me a new person and lead each of my steps. Take control of my mind and make me feel the security that I need. Thank you God. In the name of Jesus Amen.

¿Podría una persona
tener paz en medio de
un mundo lleno de
angustia? Muchos se
hacen esta pregunta
durante este tiempo
en donde nuestra sociedad actual esta confrontando una crisis económica mundial. Según el diccionario de la Lengua Española, la paz es una virtud que pone en el ánimo tranquilidad y sosiego, opuestos a la turbación y pasiones. ¿Cómo lograría usted tener esta virtud para que su vida tenga tranquilidad y el sosiego en medio de todo lo negativo que está ocurriendo a su alrededor? Enciende la televisor y parece ser que una catarata de noticias no muy buenas le empapa su mente y su corazón dejándole una incertidumbre en su alma. Algunos no reconcilian el sueño, otros se han enfermado de los nervios y otros han tomado la horrible decisión de terminar su vida dejando más turbacion e intranquilidad en el seno de su hogar.
La palabra del Señor dice en Juan 16:33: "Estas cosas les he hablado para que en mi tengas paz. En el mundo tendran aflicción; pero confía, yo he vencido al mundo. " Estas palabras dichas por Jesús fueron pronunciadas horas antes de su arresto. Deseaba dejar saber a sus discípulos que no importara lo que ocurriera en el futuro, se acordaran que en El solamente tendrían la paz. Les dice que confien en El. Cuando ponemos nuestra confianza plena en el Señor podemos lograr encontrar la paz que tanto se necesita. Si tu confianza está puesta en las cosas de este mundo no podrías tener la seuridad de una paz interior. ¿A qué me refiero? Un ejemplo es el dinero. ¿Qué es lo que pasa en la vida de las personas que confían en su dinero como un medio de seguridad cuando se les acaba? Se desesperan y parecen enloquecer. Otros viven pegados a sus cuentas bancarias para tener la seguridad de que nada les falte y viven lleno de angustias cuando noticias negativas como el despido en masas de empleados de las grandes corporaciones les amenaza constantemente. Sus mentes no tienen descanso y no logran conciliar el sueño. Cambian de actitud hacia otros de forma defensiva, no son los mismos que cuando su empresa le iba bien. Esa falta de paz e inseguridad pronto se refleja en todas las áreas de sus vidas. Por eso si verdaderamente nuestra confianza está puesta en el Señor nada de lo que ocurra a nuestro alrededor no afecta de forma negativa porque entendemos que todo es pasajero e inconstante en este mundo físico. Solamente El es eterno, El lo demonstró. Despúes que sepultaron a Jesús, resucitó y cuando se apareció frente a sus discípulos les dijo: "Paz a vosotros"...
Si deseas encontrar la verdadera paz debes de invitar al Señor a tu corazón para que El tome el control de tu vida y pueda dirigirte en medio de este tormentoso tiempo. Lee esta oración en voz alta:
Señor Jesús, vengo delante de Ti reconociendo que ere Tu y solamente Tu quien puede traerme la paz a mi vida y a mi corazón. Ven a mi corazón y haz morada en El. Hazme una nueva criatura y dirige cada uno de mis pasos. Toma el control de mi mente y hazme sentir la seguridad que necesito. Gracias Dios. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
